Founder
As Founder of Southlake Real Estate Academy, Tosha Thornton established the academy to provide practical, professional education that empowers individuals, strengthens businesses, and creates lasting opportunities through real-world learning. Built on nearly three decades of experience in property management, brokerage, education, and leadership, the academy reflects her commitment to developing knowledgeable professionals equipped for long-term success.
Tosha began her real estate career in 1996 in property management before becoming a licensed real estate professional in 2002, where she quickly earned recognition as a top-producing agent. In 2006, she founded Southlake Realty of Atlanta, LLC, where she continues to serve as Broker, leading transactions, mentoring agents, and helping clients navigate complex real estate decisions with professionalism, integrity, and expertise.
Driven by a passion for education and professional development, Tosha founded Southlake Real Estate Academy as an extension of her commitment to raising industry standards. The academy was created not only to meet licensing and continuing education requirements, but to equip real estate professionals, entrepreneurs, homeowners, and workforce participants with practical knowledge, confidence, and skills that create measurable results.
As a Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI) and the leader of a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) certified organization, Tosha is committed to expanding educational access, building strategic partnerships, and creating opportunities that positively impact professionals and communities throughout Georgia and beyond.
